To make this a reality in every home, Dulux curated four stunning palettes — Cultivate, Comeback, Grounded, and Indulge. They presented these palettes in their 2020 Colour Forecast under an overarching theme, Essence. The entire collection features gentle neutrals and muted bright colours of the Earth.According to Dulux’s Colour and Communications Manager, Andrea Lucena-Orr, this year’s colour palettes help people connect to the environment. The palette aims to give people a renewed appreciation for nature.

Featured colours: Warm Woollen, Rosseau Green, Hancock, Pencarrow, Te Aroha, Jadeite, Powdered Gum, Priory, Water Reed
, Purple Palace, Niche, Herbal
The Cultivate palette features greens, greyish blues, wattle (golden yellow) and plum hues. These pair well with raw mid-tone timber, coloured glass, and natural stone.

The Comeback palette gives us the fresh and invigorating vibe of the ocean using azure and blue-green shades. The presence of warm, Earthy colours like amber, rust, clay, and burgundy balance the look and add coziness.

Take a look at these design inspirations for this look:The name Comeback suits this palette because these ’80s retro hues look great in homes with Arts and Crafts and Mid-Century Modern interiors. These are perfect in homes with elegant vintage and contemporary furniture pieces and decor.

It consists of dramatic and exciting colours such as rich burgundy, eggplant, pink, dusty rose, faded terracotta, Earthy browns, and soft corals.

This one is not for the faint-hearted. Take a look at these design inspirations for this look:The Indulge palette is perfect for vintage and Art Deco interiors.
